Golf Lessons and Custom Club Fitting.

My name is Eric Rogers.  I have been giving golf lessons since 1992 while working as a PGA Golf Professional in San Diego.  In 1997 I began working on the PGA Tour as a club fitter/builder and tour representative to some of the best players in the world.

Golf lessons cover everything from full swing fundamentals through the short game.  I teach with the focus placed on the fundamentals such as grip, stance and posture, and swing plane.  My job is to make things simple and find the best way to communicate our goals for each individual student.  I have worked with all levels of students from beginner to tour level players and I look forward to help your game get better.

Eric’s Golf Lab Tour Trailer is the only real tour trailer in Southern California and is staged at The Golf at Rancho California.  This trailer was used at hundreds of PGA Tour events to fine tune the pros equipment.  This is the place to go for re-grips or to fully retro-fitting your golf clubs to fit your personal needs.  I offer all types of club repair and often can do the work while you are there.

The V1 Video teaching system is a tool I use show you your golf swing.  It allows us to record, break down and analyze your swing to help set goals while you hit balls in my hitting bay.  This is not used for each lesson but is very valuable to show you your current swing, changes we will make, and to track your progress.

Custom Golf Club Fitting starts in the hitting bay and finishes with you having a set of clubs that are fit just for you. I will reset the lofts to factory specification.  I then measure the loft and lie angles on each club in you bag while you hit balls in my hitting bay.  I then will make the necessary adjustments so that each club will be square at the impact position. Your irons will give you more consistency in distance and directional control just like the pros use.  This session is also used to give you your specs if you are going to order new golf clubs.

The GC2 Launch Monitor is a valuable tool used to help in the fitting process and is currently used by most if not all major club manufacturers on tour.  This technology is now used at Eric’s Golf Lab.  We can test your golf clubs and determine if you are using the right shaft or head product for optimal distance and control.  You can hit from the hitting bay while I gather ball flight data.

Eric’s Junior Program is ramping up again for 2015 starting on Saturday January 31st.  We will meet at the practice range from 10am through 12pm.  The program is for beginner through intermediate level juniors and is a 6 week program.  Please call the above number to hold a place in the clinic for your juniors today!

Private Junior Lessons are also available.  I offer a package of 5 lessons, 1 hour each.  Students who are growing out of the clinic level will benefit from private lessons.  These are also perfect for students who are interested in competing in junior golf events such as the AJGA tournaments.
